Sky Full of Stars — Childhood Memories Beneath the Northern Sky
Share

There’s something unforgettable about a northern Ontario night sky.
Growing up, some of my favourite summer memories happened after the campfire had burned low. We’d pull out lawn chairs, lean them back, and stare endlessly into the darkness above Lake Superior. It wasn’t just the stars we were watching for. If you were patient enough, you could catch rogue meteors streaking across the sky or tiny satellites quietly floating overhead. In those moments, the world felt enormous, mysterious, and peaceful all at once.
Sky Full of Stars captures that feeling.
Inspired by stargazing nights along the rugged shoreline of Gitche Gumee (Lake Superior), this contemporary psychedelic canvas print combines moonlit granite landscapes, windswept white pines, and the vast waters of the lake beneath the glowing Milky Way Galaxy. The artwork reflects my dreamy childhood memories of the night sky — where imagination and nature seemed to merge together.
Part of the Lake Superior Collection, Sky Full of Stars blends cosmic wonder with the tranquil beauty of Canada’s north. Designed for people who feel connected to adventure, travel, wilderness, and nostalgia, this piece transforms a room into a serene celestial escape.
Whether displayed in a modern home, cottage, bedroom, or creative space, this artwork is a reminder to slow down, look upward, and reconnect with the awe of the outdoors.
For anyone who has ever sat beside a campfire under an endless sky — this piece was made for you.
Art that brings you home!
